Our Story
Isaiah 61:3 Beauty for ashes
Since 2005 I have been working as a Dental Hygienist. I have seen a lot of lips through the years. Dry lips are not the only problem though. The products we use to treat our lips can do more harm than good, sometimes stripping natural oils instead of replenishing them. It’s important to choose a lip care product made with the best ingredients, from the best sources. In 2019, I retired from being in dentistry full-time to be at home with my children full-time. Late in 2019 tragedy hit our family. Thankful that everyone was safe, but devastated by the loss, we woke up in the middle of the night to our home on fire Dec. 12, 2019. At 2:30 am my children and I laid on the floor of a room over our best friends attic and Isaiah 61:3 was all I could think about. God promises Beauty for ashes, joy for mourning, and praise over heaviness. I didn’t know then how much I would cling to those promises over the next 10 months while we rebuilt our lives.
After losing most of our belongings in that house fire , 2020 became a year of rebuilding figuratively and literally. Like most people, in 2020 we found ourselves with more “at home” time. My daughter and I have always had a passion for cooking and creating, we found ourselves experimenting more and more with recipes for our natural body products. Now we are making those products available to everyone. Rebuilding, Creating, Empowering. Beauty from Ashes.
We hope you enjoy-
